Our Mission Statement|
St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School is a welcoming Christ centred community where God's love is present in all that we think, say and do.
Our school is a safe, happy place where every child is cherished, respected and valued. We inspire and guide each other to be the best that we can be.
Through Christ's love, we embrace our sense of community, our faith, our children, our families and our opportunities to learn.
"Aspire not to have more, but to be more" -
Blessed Archbishop Oscar Romero
Welcome to our website, which we hope will keep our parents, families, parish and the wider community in touch with all the fantastic things happening in our school. St Joseph’s is a small family orientated Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School where we aim to make everyone feel welcome, cherished and cared about. All the children, staff, parish and governors are really proud of our school.
At St Joseph’s we recognise that we are not the only educators of the children in our care and it is our aim to build on the many skills children already have and promote a willingness and enthusiasm to learn more. We want all our children to have a happy and successful experience of school. As a Catholic school, Christ is at the heart of our community, where everyone is valued and shows respect for each other.
At its best education is a partnership between home and school and we value and respect this partnership. Parents are welcome to come into school anytime where they can experience first hand our school motto “Live life to the full”.
